Update from Michelle

Though there is not anything new to share, I thought I would take the opportunity to send out a short update.  I (Michelle) have been so blessed to be able to celebrate Dad's birthday with him, and spend a few days visiting here with Dad and Mom and the rest of the family.   It's so nice that Dad was home though some days have been tiring for him.  He is doing quite well, but still waiting for an appointment for the PET scan, and so proceed with the tests and move forward.  It is not easy to be far away but as I plan to head home to Carman today, I am so thankful to leave Dad and Mom knowing they have the capable and loving care and support of my brothers and sisters here.  It is heartwarming for me to also see all the encouragement they are receiving from family and friends.  Please continue to keep us all in your prayers.

  1. Hey Bill. I just heard through the grapevine that you have lung cancer. Bill, I am so shocked! I am so very sad to hear this. I have been thinking about you a lot and I miss you and your visits! This really sucks!...you are starting to take it a little easier and bam...here you go. Yup, it sucks! I wish you and the family the best, no praying from me, but HUGE well wishes and positive thoughts! I truly wish the best for you! Thank you to the family for starting the blog and I hope they keep it up. I love you Bill and thank you for being such an awesome person. From Aranea & Mike & Aquila.

  2. We ARE praying for you Uncle Bill for without those prayers there is NO hope, life would REALLY "suck"...
Uncle Bill, Aunt Marg and cousins: even though we may not see you as often or know you as good as the BCers, you are still our dear uncle and aunt and cousins and especially during this trial we think and pray for you daily, that your Heavenly Father will grant all of you much peace and comfort.
sending you lots of love and prayers from Ontario,
    Jake and Lorraine and family
